When Suzi moved to Allschwil, she was presented with an amazing opportunity - a great space in the heart of the village that was begging for a new cafe with a focus on quailty coffee (using a La Cimbali machine). Before opening the cafe, Suzi had been the host of a successful podcast called SwissPats. In this podcast she spoke with expats who had come to Switzerland and reinvented themselves. It was during this podcast journey that Suzi met incredible and inspiring people, who were doing awesome things - things that Suzi knew she wanted to share. And so, when that oppourtunity came knocking, it was easy to imagine the high quality products that would be available at RE. With some locals behind her to help with the technical side of starting a business, a new space was created where you can sit and enjoy coffee, cookies, bagels, ice cream and more, all in a cozy, rustic space made possible with mostly 2nd hand items.
